N-Dimension Solutions Inc.’s mission is to provide effective cyber security protection for the critical infrastructure sector. Guided by Best Practices for operations systems cyber security, N-Dimension assists utilities by providing them with cyber security solutions that address today’s increasingly sophisticated attacks plus conformance to the critical infrastructure organization's applicable compliance requirements. N-Dimension has developed a cyber security product family that protects remote field operations, AMI collection points, substations, control centers, and generating plants with the same software set providing a cohesive cyber security fabric for the operator. N-Dimension is a founding member of the National Electric Sector Cybersecurity Organization (NESCO) which is sponsored by the United States Department of Energy. For this project, Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) has subcontracted N-Dimension to assess and develop technologies, best practices, metrics and standards to protect the US electric sector against cyber attacks. More specifically, N-Dimension is contributing to the development of vulnerability assessment and penetration testing guidelines for DOE, as well as reviewing and commenting on the future NERC CIP v.5.0 standards. N-Dimension has built an approach to cyber security specifically for utilities. We are active with utilities across North America, and we have performed over 100 cyber security assessments and penetration tests of utility operational networks. We have developed our assessment methodology based on cyber security standards, such as NIST SP800 series, NISTIR 7628, NERC CIP standards, and best practices, and we continue to enhance the methodology based on experience and insights from the assessments. N-Dimension’s cyber security solutions include the versatile and powerful n‑Platform Unified Threat Management (UTM) product lines which provide defense-in-depth cyber security protection as required by cyber security standards and best practices. This product family provides advanced yet cost effective cyber security protection for utilities of all size. This platform protects utility operations systems such as SCADA, AMI, Distribution Automation, Substation Systems, and Smart Grid Systems. N-Dimension and its business partners such as HD Supply Utilities are active across North America in designing and deploying cyber security solutions for the critical infrastructure organizations. N-Dimension's cyber security solution and services are important components to HD Supply Utilities’ GridAdvanceTM, an integrated, end-to-end smart grid solution.
