Roy M. Palk
Roy M. Palk is a forty-five-year veteran of the energy industry. His career includes work in generation, transmission, distribution, fuels, legal and public policy, insurance, customer services, energy efficiency, renewable energy and demand reduction at state, national and international levels.
Mr. Palk is now the president and CEO of New Horizons Consulting, with offices in Bradenton, Florida and Lexington, Kentucky. He represents and advises various energy clients on matters regarding business development, energy production technologies, project development, strategic planning, corporate governance and policy matters, staff development, fuel issues, environmental issues, legislative and public policy topics and capital sources. His clients include utility lenders, electric utilities and related vendor businesses, trade associations, utility infrastructure companies, architect and engineering firms, renewable energy developers, fuel companies, cyber security companies, universities and a national law firm. Mr. Palk is a frequent writer and speaker on behalf of both New Horizons Consulting and his clients.
Jeff Bridgland has more than 30 years experience in information and communications technology, the last 17 of which were with Piedmont Municipal Power Agency (PMPA), a Joint Action Agency in Greer South Carolina. At PMPA Jeff was the director of information technology and telecommunications where he developed advanced communication networks; maintained and expanded wide area networks; centralized information systems functions; and provided consulting and project management services to PMPA’s members.
Currently Jeff is president of Land Bridge LLC, a consulting firm that guides municipalities and utilities on digital information and communications strategies. In the past he has also held various information technology leadership positions for manufacturing, small business and military systems entities. He has been a speaker on and member of various telecommunications an information systems panels and task forces related to a wide range of telecommunications, broadband and information technology topics including infrastructure, governance and cybersecurity.
